Yea, I know, I've heard it a million times.. she must have left her brain behind in Mexico. I sort of did, or maybe it's because I came back to this crazy world where hurricanes can destroy entire cities and my life can be turned upside down in a blink. Either way I semi-abandoned the blogging world and in doing so created this emptiness in my think tank. But, I'm back or at least trying to be.
So much has happened in the past month, I don't even know where to start. What about pics and vids? Mexico - such a beautiful place, even in Cancun where Spring Breakers run rampantly drunk and horny. But, in the off season the place can be down right amazing. We arrived white as all hell
But after being under the sun for a while we started to toast, me especially
We took a day adventure to the Tulum Ruins... interesting spot, but Anthony couldn't stay still long enough for me to listen to the tour guide.
Then it was off to Xelha, one of the most gorgeous naturally established places I've ever been to in my life. It's a natural water inlet that is home to thousands of different sea life and you get to swim and interact with them. So we tried out snorkeling... I don't know who invented this process but there HAS to be an easier way of wearing a life vest without it riding up your crotch
Then there were the pretty birds
Adventurous days lead to hungry nights, so we hit up this beautiful on the water restaurant where Anthony chowed on lobster while I tried to hold my nose ( I don't do fish).
At some point in time we had to do the bar hop... who knew I could start drinking at 8pm and be ready to pass out at only midnight? We started it off nice and calm
Started to get a little silly... this was right before he broke into a rap (see video in previous post)
I jumped in front of firey water fountains (is that an oxy moron?)
By the end of the night, my arm was littered with club bands
The people on our bus were drunk as f*ck

The clubs, this one in particular was Coco Bongo, were nuts

The morning after
I think I'm still recovering a month later.... my head and stomach. It's true what they say about Mexico, don't drink the water... except the water is IN everything so basically there is no way to avoid it. Just be ready for your stomach to act abnormal for up to 2 weeks after return to the states.. Was it worth it? Definitely.
What came next???
Several things/events occurred since then but my brain is fried right now. I remember something about an afterwork party at Copa
(Gasp! Don't get excited it didn't last long lol...)
Ran into Big Jose and a couple of other RU heads.
Then there was Labor Day weekend... a last minute BBQ at mom's house proved to be a huge success. Not only did Anthony's entire immediate family show up (yes, his brother included), but Carlos finally brought Gabby over to see me, bout damn time!
(Carlos n Gabby)
Just call her Carlos' mini-me.
The gang's all here! U know Imani had to find her way into a pic.
Like mami, like su hijo (did I spell that right?)
The Men
Ladies and Babies
Negrons and Negrons to be?
I was the only one able to pry Gabby off of daddy's leg. I think that means she likes me.
Two bundles of joy
On other random weekends we had Isaiah and Imani with us so here are my two little ones at their best
What's mommy putting in your bottle, Imani?
She does calisthenics while she eats, amazing!
Just put up a director's chair for him, he's ready!
Wow, I remember when this kid was two and could hardly speak a full sentence, now he's teaching me how to hold a camcorder.
I know, I know he could pass for our son. Love him like he is!
Pablo, Jen and I met up for din din in the city. But Jen got camera shy. Not me and Pab, we're right there with ya Elvis!
Who REALLY carries around a copy of the NY subway system?
Me and Ely hit Copa and got caught by the paparrazi.. as always
Wrapped up the week at the San Genaro feast
(my stupid ass forgot to take off the sunny setting on my phone- derr!)
And lastly... I did another hair change
from blondish-brown
to my sultry red, love it
And THAT is about it kids... I promise to keep up from now on!
